About Me

My name is Yin and I am a fighter!
Not in the literal sense -- I am super peaceful, friendly and laid-back -- but the fact that I am alive after everything I have been through?
Definitely a miracle! Read about my medical history below..

Now, back to my personality! Even though I ended up at the center against my will, everyone here makes me feel like a celebrity!
There have been dozens of volunteers (and staff) throughout the months that were keen to adopt me.
And I get it, it's easy to fall in love with those eyes!
No matter who you ask, if I like you (and I probably will), I am the cuddliest cat around. Always available for a chin scritch!

Ever since I am able to move around properly again, I have also rediscovered my passion for toys. Catching toys with feathers attached to them is my favorite thing ever these days!

Why am I Here at Lanta Animal Welfare?

Like so many others I was hit by a car. When LAW picked me up, nobody thought that I was going to make it. I wasn't eating properly, not drinking and suffering seizures frequently, because the impact with that stupid car almost ended my life.
But I pulled through. Months of constant love and care have helped me regain my old confidence, and I feel a lot better now.

A fair warning though, even though I am managing better every day, my accident has left me with some neurological issues.

If you have experience with special needs cats like me, we're going to be a great match. If don't, but you're willing to learn, that's fine, too!
I personally think I am doing pretty well now.
Sometimes I tilt my head a little and have trouble keeping my balance, so my walk is a bit wobbly. Makes a cute cat like me even cuter, don't you think?
